Question 1

How is ExamDen.uk different from just buying study texts or PDF mock papers?

Accepted Answer

Study texts and PDFs give you static questions. ExamDen gives you a dynamic question bank: the AI Recommendation Engine spots your weakest learning outcomes and builds quizzes around them, and timed mocks follow the real exam format. Content is updated as syllabuses change, so you never study an out-of-date tax year or rule.

Question 2

Is the content updated for the latest syllabus?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The R0 banks follow the 2026/27 tax year for exams sat from 1 September 2026, the Cert CII banks follow the 2026 syllabus, and the CeMAP banks follow the current LIBF unit specifications. The question banks were last updated on 12 October 2026.

Question 3

Which exams do you cover?

Accepted Answer

All five CeMAP units (FRE1, FRE2, MRT1, MRT2 and ASEW/ASSC), CII R01–R05, and the CII Certificate in Insurance units IF1, IF2, IF3, IF4, IF5, IF6, I10 and I11.

Question 4

Are the questions in the same format as the real exams?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use the same question styles you'll see on exam day, including CII multiple-response questions and the CeMAP and Cert CII case studies. Simulation Mode matches each exam's question count, time limit and pass mark.

Question 5

Can I use ExamDen.uk on my phone or tablet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform is fully web-based and works on desktop, tablet and mobile. There's nothing to install.

Question 6

How does the AI Recommendation Engine work?

Accepted Answer

After each quiz or mock, we analyse every answer by learning outcome. The engine finds the outcomes where you scored lowest and creates a targeted quiz from those areas, so your revision time goes where it makes the biggest difference.

Question 7

Is this a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. Every plan is a one-time payment for a fixed access period. There are no recurring charges and nothing to cancel.

Question 8

Do prices include VAT?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

Question 9

What is the Free Resit Extension?

Accepted Answer

Free Resit Extension, included with every plan. If you don't pass, you get up to 3 more months of access on ExamDen to prepare for your next attempt. To qualify, complete at least two full mock exams in Simulation Mode for that unit or module on ExamDen before you sit, sit the official exam during your original access period, and email support@examden.uk within 30 days of your result with proof (personal details may be redacted). You receive one extension of up to 3 months after your access ends, for the unit or module you did not pass. This extends your access. It is not a promise that you will pass, and it is not a refund. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. The full conditions are in our Terms.

Question 10

Are you affiliated with the CII or LIBF?

Accepted Answer

No. ExamDen.uk is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Chartered Insurance Institute or The London Institute of Banking & Finance (Walbrook Institute London).
