examden.uk (the "Platform") is operated by PICOPICO TECH PTE. LTD., trading as ExamDen.uk ("we", "us" or "our"). We are the controller of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Information We Collect
a) Information you give us
- Account information: your email address and password, or your name and email address if you sign up with a third-party provider such as Google.
- Payment information: when you buy a plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your payment card details. We do not store your full card details.
- Support messages: anything you send us by email, including result slips for Pass Guarantee claims.
b) Information we collect automatically
- Usage data: the quizzes and mock exams you take, your answers, scores and performance by learning outcome. This powers our AI Recommendation Engine.
- Log and device data: such as your IP address, browser type, operating system and the pages you visit.
2. How We Use Your Information and Our Lawful Bases
- To provide the Platform (create your account, process payments and give you access): necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To personalise your study (analyse your answers to find weak areas and suggest quizzes): necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To communicate with you (payment confirmations, support replies, important service updates): necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To improve and secure the Platform (aggregated usage analytics, fraud prevention): our legitimate interests in running a reliable, secure service.
- To meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records): compliance with legal obligations.
- Marketing emails, if you opt in: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who act on our behalf:
- Supabase: database hosting and user authentication.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Google: if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
- Vercel: website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
These providers may only use your data to provide their services to us.
4. International Transfers
We are based in Singapore and some of our service providers process data outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy decision.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep your account and performance data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data unless we need to keep some of it to meet legal obligations, such as keeping transaction records for tax purposes.
6. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.
